One Small Voice. Yes Ma’am, Yes Sir

Hurricane Michael

According to the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Michael was directly responsible for 16 deaths and about $25 billion in damage in the United States. Initially rated a top-end Category 4 when it made landfall, Michael was later upgraded to a Category 5 in post-analysis. Devastation from this storm was absolute, but the Cajun Navy delivered help to the people of Wewahitchka, Stone Mill Creek, and Dalkeith in the Florida panhandle. The Cajun Navy collaborated with other organizations for two supply drops. We also cut trees off of homes, tarped roofs, cleaned up yards, and anything we could do to help these hard-hit communities that seemed to be forgotten by other agencies.
